TLCA former president Jayaprakash Enjapuri set to lead TTA New York chapter

Telangana American Telugu Association New York Chapter under the leadership of esteemed founder Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy is delighted to congratulate Mr. Jayaprakash Enjapuri appointed as new Regional Vice President (RVP) for the term 2025-2026. Jayaprakash Enjapuri is a true adventurer and global marathoner with over 16 years of experience in community service across various organizations.

Mr. Enjapuri served as the 51st President of the Telugu Literary and Cultural Association (TLCA) in New York. His remarkable achievements, including being the 48th Indian and the first person of Telugu descent to complete all six World Major Marathons, serve as an inspiration for others to chase their own dreams. To date, Jay has completed 18 marathons around the world.

In recognition of Mr. Enjapuri’ s contributions to sports, Jay was honored with the “Lifetime Achievement in Sports” award by the TTA in 2022, presented at the TTA Mega Convention in New Jersey. In September 2023, he reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, raising the TTA flag on Africa’s highest peak and the 4th tallest mountain in the world.

In June 2024, he conquered the Salkantay Pass, leading to the ancient Machu Picchu in Peru. Currently, Mr. Enjapuri is preparing for his next great adventure: a summit attempt at Mount Everest in September 2025. Through every challenge he faces, Jay continues to embody the spirit of exploration and adventure, inspiring future generations to push beyond their limits and pursue their passions.

Congratulations poured in from the TTA Founder, Advisory Council, TTA President, Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Standing Committees (SCs), and Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs). TTA also extend heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing RVP, Satya N Reddy Gaggenapally, for his exceptional dedication and efforts, which were highly recognized and appreciated throughout his term.

The newly appointed New York team includes Sahodar Peddireddy (Treasurer), Usha Reddy Mannem (Matrimonial Director), Ranjeeth Kyatham (BOD), and Srinivas Guduru (Literary & Souvenir Director). They will be working alongside the dedicated core team members: Mallik Reddy, Rama Kumari Vanama, Satya N Reddy Gaggenapally, Sunil Reddy Gaddam, Vani Singirikonda, Hari Charan Bobbili, Sowmya Sri Chittari, Vijender Basa, Bharath Vummannagari, and Mounika Bodigam. Wishing the entire team great success in their roles and continued contributions toward the growth of TTA New York Chapter.
