Overseas Friends of BJP Celebrated BJP-Led NDA Victory in New Jersey

Edison, New Jersey, 6/13/2024: The Indian American community celebrated the BJP-led NDA’s historic victory in the general elections at the Royal Albert’s Palace in Edison, New Jersey. The event was organized by the OFBJP under the leadership of Dr. Adapa Prasad, President of OFBJP-USA. More than 800 people gathered for the grand celebration.

This event was filled with jubilation as attendees celebrated the Shri Narendra Modi-led BJP government and its allies forming a government for the third consecutive term. The event commenced with vibrant Dol Tasha performances and dancing by NRIs, reflecting the excitement over the victory. Smt. Jyotsna Sharma served as the emcee for the evening.

Dr. Adapa Prasad extended congratulations to PM Shri Narendra Modi, JP Nadda, and the NDA alliance partners. He highlighted the historic nature of the victory, marking the first time since 1962 that an incumbent has been voted back for a third consecutive term. OFBJP general secretary Dr. Vasudev Patel expressed confidence that the government would continue its rapid development with the new mandate.

Shri Krishna Reddy emphasized that Shri Narendra Modi is the only leader in the democratic world, post-World War II, to be elected for a third consecutive term, each time with a consistent vote share, setting an international record. He praised the success of the BJP and its NDA alliance partners, including TDP, Janasena, JDU, Shiv Sena, etc.

Dr. Sudheer Parikh, Shri Albert Jessani, and Shri Piyush Patel spoke on the achievements of the BJP government, praising Modi ji’s success. Messages from Union Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya and OFBJP global prabhari Shri Vijay Chauthaiwale were also shared. Shri Charan Singh discussed the UP campaign and how OFBJP volunteers engaged with the local populace.

Shri Amar Goswami elaborated on a car rally organized in Gujarat and other OFBJP activities in the region. Shri Vilas Reddy provided insights into the Telangana campaign, noting the BJP’s success in winning 8 seats. Actor Patel entertained the crowd with his songs.
