GATeS Youth Volunteers Lead Successful “Adopt-A-Road” Cleanup Drive in Forsyth County

Cumming, Georgia, June 21, 2026: The Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) successfully conducted its “Adopt-A-Road” community service initiative on Sunday morning, bringing together enthusiastic youth volunteers, families, and community leaders for a large-scale roadside cleanup effort in Forsyth County.

The cleanup activity took place along a two-mile stretch between Old Atlanta Road and Buford Highway, an area adopted by GATeS as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and civic responsibility. Equipped with safety vests, litter grabbers, gloves, and collection bags, volunteers worked diligently to remove trash and debris, helping restore the beauty of the roadway and surrounding green spaces.

The event was organized as part of GATeS’ exclusive Youth Enrichment Program, providing young participants with an opportunity to engage in meaningful community service while learning the importance of environmental conservation and public responsibility. Volunteers of all ages actively participated, demonstrating a strong commitment to keeping Forsyth County clean and beautiful.
