The TANA Boat Race at Asia Fest 2025 concluded with great success, drawing enthusiastic participation, especially from the younger generation who proudly represented the TANA team. This year’s effort was dedicated to TANA Team Square for its continued service to the community.
The event was led by young and dynamic organizers Sai Srikanth Uppalapati and Mithun Sunkara, under the guidance of TANA leadership — Kiran Kothapalli garu (National TANA Team Square Chair), Rajesh Yarlagadda garu (National TANA Joint Treasurer), and Praveen Tatineni garu (Raleigh Team Square Chair).
Srikanth and Mithun expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Murthy Akkina garu, Kumar Challagolla garu, and Kiran Kakarlamudi garu, whose constant guidance and support were the backbone of this effort. Special thanks were extended to Naresh Kosaraju garu and Bharath Cafe for their generous sponsorship, which greatly supported the event.
The TANA stall also received visits from TJ Cawley (Morrisville Mayor), Sarika Bansal (Cary Town Council Member), Subbareddy Madireddy, and several local organization leaders and political representatives who appreciated TANA’s continued service to society.
Srikanth and Mithun also conveyed their thanks to TANA Foundation Trustees Ram Allu garu and Sridhar Gottipati garu, along with the Raleigh TANA leadership, for their ongoing support in making Telugu Association of North America (TANA) events in Raleigh a continued success.
