TTA board meeting in Tampa, Matrimony platform launched, acknowledged Mega Convention success

Tampa, Florida, October 25, 2024: The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA), the nation’s premier Telangana organization, convened its 2024 in-person Board meeting in Tampa, Florida today, Saturday. The event opened with an inspiring message from TTA founder, Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy.

Dr. Reddy praised the tremendous success of the TTA Mega Convention 2024, held in Seattle, and acknowledged the collective efforts of the Advisory Council (AC), Executive Committee (EC), and Board of Directors (BOD). He offered special congratulations to TTA President Vamshi Reddy and the entire leadership team for organizing such a historic event on the West Coast, a feat unmatched by any other Telugu organization.

The TTA Mega Convention 2024 marked a significant milestone, showcasing the association’s commitment to uniting and empowering the Telugu community nationwide. During the meeting, Advisory Chair Dr. Vijayapal Reddy expressed his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the entire TTA team, including the Seattle chapter, in making the TTA Mega Convention 2024 a resounding success.

Dr. Reddy also highlighted his enthusiasm for TTA’s future plans and upcoming initiatives, emphasizing the association’s forward-looking agenda. Advisory Co-Chair Dr. Mohan Reddy Patallola and Advisory Council Member Bharath Reddy Madadi also shared their thoughts, offering heartfelt congratulations to the TTA leadership and members.

They commended the TTA team not only for the triumph of the convention but also for the recently organized Bonalu and Bathukamma celebrations across the United States, which further strengthened the cultural connection within the Telugu community.

The Board meeting underscored TTA’s commitment to advancing its mission of promoting Telangana culture and community engagement across the country. President Vamshi Reddy Kancharakuntla expressed his gratitude to the Board and the TTA Team for attending the board meeting.

He extended special thanks to the Advisory Committee (AC), Executive Committee (EC), and the Board for giving him the freedom and support to make his dream of the Seattle Convention a reality. He highlighted that the convention’s grand success was made possible thanks to the dedication and backing of all TTA chapters and the local team.

Without their collective efforts, this achievement would not have been possible, he felt. President-Elect Naveen Reddy Mallipeddi along with the Executive Committee members extended their gratitude and congratulations to the entire TTA Board and its members for the overwhelming success of the TTA Mega Convention 2024.

They praised the exceptional dedication and hard work of all TTA chapters for organizing vibrant Bonalu, Bathukamma, and Dasara celebrations across the USA, reinforcing cultural ties within the Telugu community. The Executive Committee acknowledged the efforts made in ensuring these celebrations reached various cities, further enhancing the reach and impact of TTA’s cultural initiatives.

TTA Secretary Kavitha Reddy addressed the gathering, highlighting the successful lineup of 2024 events. She offered special recognition to the women leaders for their instrumental roles in the success of Bonalu and Bathukamma celebrations. Following her remarks, members participated in the TTA Tampa Cultural Event, which was followed by a grand dinner feast. New TTA Memberships were approved by the Board of Directors.

TTA Matrimony Platform Launched

TTA Matrimony was officially launched during the Tampa Board Meeting. The team worked diligently to develop this innovative platform to connect eligible individuals in the USA and Canada through InYou Aspirants. Users can log in to the TTA official website to access the matchmaking service. Every three months, the TTA team will facilitate meetings between potential brides and grooms and their respective parents to foster connections.

The Advisory Council (AC), Executive Committee (EC), Board of Directors (BODs), Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), and State Coordinators (SCs) expressed their heartfelt thanks to the TTA Tampa Chapter for organizing a productive Board meeting and for their exceptional hospitality.

The attendees also acknowledged the volunteers for their dedication and hard work in making the event a success, and extended their gratitude to the sponsors who supported the meeting. A special note of appreciation was given to BOD Narendar Methuku and RVPs Dill Vasa and Raghu for their outstanding contributions.
