SPB Music International celebrated Gaana Sumanjali in New Jersey

In the memory of the legendary singer SP Balasubramanian, on 9/27/2024 with the blessings of Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy, Platinum sponsor and Ganti Bhaskar, Grand Sponsor, SPB Music International celebrated Gaana Sumanjali. The program was well attended, and the guests were served sumptuous snacks and dinner.

Program started with Ganesha prardhana and about 18 singers sung 40 plus songs. Advisor, and the backbone of many organizations, Sri Damu Gedela, carried the picture of SP Balasubramanian, in a procession accompanied by melodious nadaswaram being played. All the audience felt blessed, to carry Balu gari picture to the front of the Dias.

Singing by the disciples of Sri Ramachari Komanduru, Little Musicians Academy who trained so many singers that made it to the silver screen. A scintillating dance performance by the disciples of Guru Swathi Atluri, Siddhendra Kuchipudi Art Academy (SKAA) attracted the crowd.

Nadaswaram concert by eminent artists from India, blessings by Raghu Sankaramanchi, Sri Saidatta Peetam, New Jersey, honoring the local and national association leaders, songs by youth and children are some of the highlights. It is the very motto of SPB Music International to catch them young, train and promote filmi music among children and amateur singers.

Anchoring by the Vice Chairperson, Raji Burra, stole everybody’s hearts. Convenor Madhu DowlapalliPalli, coordinators, Kumar Buddharaju, Musipatla Pramod Kumar, steered the program efficiently from start to finish. Media partners, TV5, Mana TV, Jai, Swarajya TV and JSW TV covered the event.

Madhu Rachakulla, the President of TFAS, Sudhakar Uppala, Board of Director, Telangana American Telugu Association, Suresh Bondugula, Secretary, Telugu Association of Greater Delaware Valley (TAGDV), Prasad Kanagala, Long time leader from TANA were honored. They wished for many more successful programs from SPBMI.

Chairman, Srinivas Guduru, and Vice chairperson, Rajeshwari Burra, on behalf of all the cofounders of SPBMI, thanked the audience and donors for joining the event in big number, and for extending their wholehearted support. They also extended thanks to all the associations for their best wishes and for extending the support.

The organizing team and the audience observed a few moments of silence, in memory of Krishna Vaddepalli, who recently left for the abode of goddess Saraswati. In the last SPBMI program in June, 2024, we had the opportunity to honor Krishna Vaddepalli, and listen to a wonderful instantaneous poem on Sri SP Balasubramanian.
