MATA signed MOU with Telangana government to offer free IT training

Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) is taking significant steps to ensure the younger generation is prepared for the future by providing access to advanced technologies such as Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Cloud Computing, Mobile App Development, Web Development etc.

Recognizing the rapid pace of technological evolution, MATA leadership including Srinivas Ganagoni (Founder & President), Pradeep Samala (Co-Founder), and Nagesh Chilakapati (Community Services Director) and Executive Committee has initiated strategic discussions with Telangana’s IT Minister, Mr. Sridhar Babu Duddilla.

Inspired by the initiatives led by Telangana’s Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, MATA and the Telangana Government have committed to uplift suburban and the rural youth. This collaboration has resulted in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK).

Over the next five years, Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) will offer FREE online IT training to economically disadvantaged students, targeting up to 1,000 students in the initial phase, with the first batch starting in Kamareddy district on September 2, 2024.

The support from various officials, including Sridhar Babu Duddilla (IT Minister), Jayesh Ranjan (Chief Secretary of ITE&C), Sai Krishna (Advisor to the IT Minister), Srikanth Sinha (TASK CEO) and Vishnuvardhan Reddy (Special Secretary to the IT Minister) has been instrumental in this initiative.

MATA Leadership team extends their sincere gratitude to the MATA community services team, Kiran Duddagi, Praveen Guduru, Vijaya Bhaskar Kalal, Kalyani Bellamkonda, Srinivas Kukkadapu, and Executive Committee for their swift actions.  MATA India team consists of Vijaya Bhaskar Bolgam, Varun Bairagoni, Rajender Kumar Thatipamula, Advocate Syamgopal Rao, Srinivas Narrala, and many other volunteers will work with TASK team to execute the program on the ground.

Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) also extends its sincere gratitude to Pradeep Reddy (TASK – Head of Technology Delivery, Placements & ESDM) who is closely working with MATA leadership team for the smooth execution of the program.

Over the past year and half, MATA has actively served the community through various initiatives, including IT training for youth, health clinics, medical camps, blood drives, wellbeing programs, cultural activities, and Indian festivals. MATA remains committed to supporting Telugu communities both in North America and back home in India.
