VT Seva Atlanta youth participated in the Bird House Making & Feeding Project with fervor and zeal. VT Seva (Volunteering Together for Service) is a volunteer driven global non-profit organization. It was registered as 501(C)3 non-profit organization in USA in 2008. It’s has more than 25 branches across America.

Atlanta VT Seva has more than 800 volunteers and regularly participate in various volunteering projects in the field of Education, Environment, Healthcare, and Disaster Relief. Can You imagine a world without birds? Birds paly an essential role in our eco-system as they are the predators, pollinators, scavengers, and seed dispersers.

If birds are healthy, our eco-system is also healthy as they are the eco-system engineers. More than 60 Atlanta youth of all age groups enjoyed making creative bird houses to provide home and food to the birds in this harsh winter. It’s good to know that our youth care about birds and building healthy habitat in Atlanta.

Each youth will put bird seeds and water in their bird house year-round which will be instrumental in birds’ nurturing and growth. This also contribute significantly in making our planet earth healthy. We raised $500 which was donated for the food for the blind/visually challenged students of Nethra Vidyalaya, India.

Lambert High School VT Seva youth participated in this project. It is a gratifying experience for the Atlanta VT Seva Team and they say this is just a beginning, giving wings of inspiration will never stop pushing them to the new heights.
