TANA educates the community on personal finances

Telugu Association of North America ‘TANA’ organized a webinar successfully on Saturday, February 26th. The topic of interest was Planning Personal Finances. With great participation from the community, this event was organized and coordinated by TANA Community Services Coordinator Raja Kasukurthi and TANA New York Regional Coordinator Dilipkumar Musunuru.

The guest speakers Giri Lankipalli and Shiva Madala explained different topics and strategies to take care of personal financials, be it for individuals or families. They have covered the differences between tax differed and tax advantage, retirement blind spots, where and when to retire, the importance of life insurance to avoid any financial collapse. They also discussed about Will & Trust and Estate planning for families, 529 plans, Roth IRA etc.

Mr. Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu, TANA President, stressed about the importance of personal financial wellbeing and how TANA is helping community by providing these educational webinars. TANA Foundation Trustee Sumanth Ramsetti, Media Coordinator Tagore Mallineni and Kaleem helped for this event.
