Venkat Chundi from Atlanta with leaders at 55th World Economic Forum: Davos, Switzerland

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international advocacy non-governmental organization and think tank, based in Cologny, Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. It was founded on January 24, 1971 by German engineer Klaus Schwab, a business professor at the University of Geneva.

First named the European Management Forum, it changed its name to the World Economic Forum in 1987 and sought to broaden its vision to include providing a platform for resolving international conflicts. The WEF is mostly known for its annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, Switzerland.

Davos is a mountain resort in the canton of Graubünden, in the eastern Alps region of Switzerland. The foundation’s stated mission is “improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas”.

The 55th Annual Meeting of The World Economic Forum is taking place at Davos, Switzerland from January 20th to 24th, 2025. The meeting welcomed governments from different parts of the world, all major international organizations and the Forum’s 1000 partner companies as well as civil society leaders, foremost experts, young changemakers, social entrepreneurs and the media.

An Indian American from Atlanta, Georgia, USA Venkat Chundi participated in this World Economic Forum 2025. As part of the business meetings, Mr. Chundi got an opportunity to meet several great personalities. Mr. Chundi expressed happiness over his successful visit to the world famous economic forum and meeting so many successful entrepreneurs and government representatives.

Among many are Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Minister of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications and the Human Resources Development departments in the Government of Andhra Pradesh Nara Lokesh and his wife Nara Brahmani, and Minister of Civil Aviation of India Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu.
