UPS made a bold move ending work from home effective March 4, 2024

United Parcel Service (UPS), the shipping giant, made a bold move on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Per Atlanta Business Chronicle, UPS sent a memo to their employees ending work from home and asking to work from office five days a week, effective Monday, March 4, 2024.

This will impact thousands of UPS (United Parcel Service) corporate employees including the ones working for its headquarters in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This ends the 3:2 hybrid policy introduced about an year ago.

As the largest public company in Georgia withdraws its hybrid work policy, there might be more big boys in IT sector in line to enforce the same or similar mandate. UPS claims that this is needed to continue providing industry-leading service to their customers.
