TTA New York Chapter spearheaded the successful women’s sports event in Long Island

New York, April 28, 2024 – Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) New York chapter organized a vibrant Women’s Sports event at the SUSA Sports Center, Long Island. The event showcased a range of exciting activities, fostering camaraderie and athleticism among participants.

From the thrilling Badminton matches to engaging games like Tennikoit, Hoola Hoop, Dog and the Bone, Throwball, Carrom Board, and the exciting Relay races, the event was packed with enthusiasm and competitive spirit. A standout feature of the event was the inclusion of Women’s Cricket, which drew widespread attention and admiration.

The leadership of TTA New York led by RVP Sathya N. Reddy Gaggenapally, Treasurer Sahodar Peddireddy, Board of Directors Usha Mannem, Mallik Reddy, Pavan Ravva and Rama Vanama alongside RCs Sowmya Chittari, Haricharan Bobbili, Vijendar Basa, and Sunil Reddy Gaddam spearheaded the successful execution of the event.

Participants hailed from diverse professions, including esteemed individuals from the fields of medicine, engineering, law, education, and information technology, highlighting the event’s inclusive nature and broad appeal. The event received good turnout, with participants from various backgrounds lauding TTA’s initiative in promoting sports and community engagement.

Representatives from NYTTA, TLCA and TANA added to the event’s prestige by their attendance, underscoring the collaborative spirit within the Telugu community.
