A Cumming Telugu student won $25,000 Taco Bell Foundation scholarship

The Taco Bell Foundation awards over 1000 students every year as part of their annual scholarship program. It has awarded more than $10,000,000 in scholarships. This year, a Telugu student from Cumming, Ritisha Lingampally, won the highest amount awarded by the nonprofit worth $25,000.

Ritisha Lingampally is a high school senior in Cumming, Georgia helping people with mental health problems and won this scholarship from the Taco Bell Foundation. Ritisha served as a volunteer at a local suicide prevention hotline and as a hospice companion. After graduation, Ritisha will be going to Emory University to continue her research.
