Atlanta to felicitate Tollywood Lyricist, Oscar Nominee Chandra Bose on Mar 14

Atlanta Indian community planned a grand public felicitation for Tollywood lyricist and Oscar Nominee Subhash Chandrabose Kanukuntla on Tuesday, March 14th, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Chandrabose is the lyricist of the popular “Naatu Naatu” song from the Telugu movie RRR along with thousands of other popular Telugu songs.

Seating is limited and it is on first come first serve basis. Registration is mandatory to attend the event. This event is organized by local and national Telugu organizations in Atlanta, Georgia.

Chandrabose is from a village Challagariga of Warangal district in Telangana. He has debuted as a lyricist with the 1995 film Taj Mahal. He has written lyrics for about 3600 songs in over 850 films in his 25 years of career. Chandrabose won a Golden Globe Award and received an Academy Award nomination for “Naatu Naatu” song from RRR released in 2022. He has received two Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards, and three SIIMA Awards as a lyricist.
