Harrisburg, Pennsylvania: The American Telugu Association (ATA) successfully hosted the Harrisburg Greet & Meet and Convention Kickoff event this past weekend, drawing close to 100 attendees from the vibrant local Telugu community.

The event served as a key platform to engage community members, strengthen local connections, and build momentum toward the upcoming 19th ATA National Convention & Youth Conference, scheduled from July 31 to August 2 in Baltimore, Maryland.

The program was thoughtfully organized by the ATA Harrisburg local chapter, led by Regional Coordinator Vibheeshan Reddy, along with the dedicated core team members — Chitra Reddy Burri, Laxman Buddineni, Sambasiva Reddy Ellanki, Santhosh Mittapalli, Raj Katla, Rakesh Paidi, and SVR Reddy — whose collective efforts ensured a well-coordinated and successful event.

The gathering was graced by the presence of several distinguished ATA leaders. ATA President Jayanth (Jay) Challa addressed the attendees and spoke about ATA’s ongoing activities and services to the community. He encouraged community members to actively participate and enroll as ATA members.

He also elaborated on the scale and significance of the upcoming Baltimore convention, inviting the Harrisburg Telugu community to attend in large numbers. American Telugu Association (ATA) President-Elect Satish Reddy joined the event from Dallas, Texas.

Other prominent ATA leaders in attendance included Past President Parmesh Bheemreddy, Conference National Coordinator Sharat Vemula, Treasurer Srikanth Gudipati, Conference Finance Committee Chair Ravinder Gudur, Board of Trustees members Srinivas Dargula and Raj Kakkerla, Philadelphia Area Regional Coordinator Venugopal Komatireddy, and Ramana Kotha, Regional Advisor.

The event also witnessed strong participation from the broader Telugu community, including leaders and members from organizations such as HTA, TANA, and MATA. ATA extends its sincere appreciation to all attendees.

Special thanks to sponsors Kiran Gudur (Genius Kids), Vikram Pachica, and Raj Katla. The Harrisburg Greet & Meet marks a significant step forward as American Telugu Association (ATA) prepares to host one of the largest gatherings of the Telugu diaspora in North America.
