OFBJP Arizona Chapter Organizes Blood Donation Drive to Mark 25 Years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Service as Head of Government. Community initiative under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan brings together donors and volunteers in Arizona.

The Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party (OFBJP), Arizona Chapter, organized a blood donation drive on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Vitalant Blood Donation Center in Gilbert, Arizona. Conducted under the banner of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the initiative commemorated 25 years of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s service to Bharat as head of government while promoting seva, compassion, and social responsibility within the community.

The event provided an opportunity for community members to support patients in need through the practical and meaningful act of donating blood. Donors, volunteers, and supporters came together to advance the cause and demonstrate their commitment to community service.

Dr. Karthik Reddy Donuur, OFBJP Arizona Chapter Lead, delivered a thank-you address recognizing the generosity of the donors and the contributions of the volunteers and participants. He emphasized that community seva reflects both compassion and civic responsibility, noting the importance of giving time, effort, and support to initiatives that benefit others.

Dr. Reddy also reflected on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s 25 years of service to Bharat and his vision of Viksit Bharat. He connected the blood donation drive to the broader spirit of service, highlighting the role of overseas Indian communities in encouraging volunteerism, strengthening community ties, and contributing positively to the societies in which they live.

During his remarks, Dr. Reddy also acknowledged the courage of Captain Smith Machchhar, the Indian pilot who reportedly saved many lives during the FlyDubai incident. He conveyed his best wishes for Captain Machchhar’s speedy recovery and praised his bravery and dedication to protecting others.

The success of the initiative reflected the combined efforts of donors, volunteers, and supporters. In addition to donating blood, participants assisted with coordination, outreach, attendance, and encouragement, helping create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Those attending and supporting the event included Dr. Karthik Reddy Donuur, Srinivasa Gupta, Rama Krishnan, Srijith Srinivasan, Adi Moreddy, Damodharan, Raghavan Dinakaran, Raj Bandi, Praveen Alamuri, Amit Gupta, Venkat Hari, and Arun Ravichander, along with other community members and OFBJP karyakartas.
