Mahabubnagar, Telangana: The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) successfully conducted a screening camp for physically disabled individuals at Little Scholar School Gym, Mettugadda, Mahabubnagar. The prosthetic limbs for the beneficiaries were generously sponsored by TTA Advisory Council Chair Dr. Vijayapal Reddy Garu and family.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Mr. Ranga Rao Garu from the Khammam Rotary Trust, ensuring effective coordination and smooth execution of the program.This initiative marks TTA’s second prosthetic limb donation project in 2025, in Telangana, following the first camp held at Hayathnagar, Hyderabad.
Overall, this is TTA’s fifth prosthetic limb donation program, with earlier camps organized in Vikarabad, Nemeli, and Warangal.Telangana American Telugu Association’s mission is to ensure that no individual is left unable to perform daily activities due to physical disability.
Through its ongoing humanitarian efforts, Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) aims to continue extending support to all those in need in the coming years. At the Mahabubnagar screening camp, around 130 individuals registered for prosthetic limbs.
In addition, 30 people will receive tricycles and 20 elderly individuals will be provided with wheelchairs during the upcoming distribution camp.The event was graced by Mahabubnagar MLA Sri Yennam Srinivas Reddy and Ms. Jareenabegam, Deputy Director of Welfare (under the District Collector’s office).
Both appreciated TTA’s charitable work and promised to attend the distribution ceremony scheduled for December 20, 2025.TTA extends heartfelt thanks to Mr. R.V. Narasimha Reddy, Mr. Vijay Kumar, and TTA President Naveen Reddy for their invaluable support and coordination in making the screening camp a success.
