TAMA in association with Real Tax Ally conducted tax seminar in Alpharetta, Georgia

Atlanta, Georgia: Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) in association with Real Tax Ally organized a seminar on Tax Filing and Financial Planning on February 22nd at Desana Middle School, Alpharetta, Georgia. Over 50 people participated in this interactive and informative session. The event commenced with an opening note from TAMA President Rupendra Vemulapalli.

Rupendra spoke about the essence and need of this session, especially during this Tax filing period. He elaborated various activities and seminars that TAMA conducts regularly, for the benefit of the community. TAMA Board Chairman Raghava Tadavarthi invited the featured presenter of the day Mr. Hariprasad Salian, a seasoned Financial and Tax professional with more than 17years of experience.

Hariprasad is also Head of the Nation-wide Franchise, Real Tax Ally. He started with the broad services provided by Real Tax Ally, followed by 2024 Tax Code changes. This 2 hours in-person seminar discussion included Taxes and related law changes in 2024 & 2025, tax timelines and various possible tax deductions.

Simple Tax saving tips and FAQs are the highlights of the day, which are well received by the audience. He also elucidated certain intricacies related to FBAR, Tax Credits, Tax Rate Table, and exemptions. How taxes work for visiting parents, kids, legal residents including Citizens, Green Card, Visa holders and students are some of the points of interest for attendees.

Everyone is appreciative of the fine details provided by Mr. Hari Prasad very clearly in common man’s language and were talking about the benefits and savings they could avail. Several participants have asked general questions that will benefit everyone. Even after the presentation, many doubts were clarified in detail. Snacks and beverages were provided for attendees.
