8 cities and 16 days of service by NRIVA via Bharat Seva Tour

In a resounding demonstration of its dedication to serving the underprivileged, the NRI Vasavi Association (NRIVA) is embarking on a 16-day Bharat Seva tour across eight cities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, beginning January 16th, 2024. This whirlwind journey, led by NRIVA President Srinivasa Rao Pandiri will witness the leadership team (President Elect Ramesh Bapanapalli, BOT Dr. Ramulu Samudrala, Regional Director Rajani Kopparapu, NRIVA foundation directors LN Panthangi, Ravi Garlapati, and Santosh Morishetty) engaging in a multitude of service activities aimed at uplifting communities across the states.

Khammam kicks off the Journey

The tour commences in Khammam on January 16th with a full day dedicated to giving back. The program includes:

  • Distributing 100+ artificial limbs to empower the disabled.
  • Launching Pustaka Mitra libraries at Rama Krishna Mission School and other public schools, fostering a love for reading.
  • Visiting Goshala and Kanyaka Parameswari temple, demonstrating respect for tradition and service to animals.
  • Concluding with a grand NRIVA Day event, showcasing the organization’s diverse initiatives to local leaders.


Warangal, Vijayawada, Chirala and beyond

Each subsequent day of the tour sees the NRIVA leadership visit a new city, their schedule brimming with impactful activities:

  • Warangal: Mobile Cancer Screening Camp for 14 villages, school equipment inauguration, Goshala service, and a meet & greet with local leadership.
  • Vijayawada: Prayers at Kanakadurga Temple, meeting local families, and discussing NRIVA’s upcoming 7th Global Convention.
  • Chirala: Pension distribution to 300 disabled families, school bench inauguration, library launch, and a meet & greet.
  • Penugonda & Anakapalle: Temple visits, discussions on Akhanda Jyothi installation, library launch, vitamin distribution to families, and a meet & greet.
  • Hyderabad: Supporting Orphanage and distributing oxygen concentrators to old age homes.

Ananthapur & Hyderabad: Culminating in Service and Celebration

The tour culminates in Ananthapur with a two-day extravaganza:

  • NRIVA Day on January 24th, celebrating the culmination of the Bharat Seva journey.
  • Elevator Bhoomi Pooja at an Oldage Home, demonstrating NRIVA’s commitment to senior care.
  • Science Lab inauguration and library launch at a school, fostering education and knowledge.

The final leg of the tour concludes on January 27th at T-Hub in Hyderabad with the grand NRIVA Day, commemorating all service activities undertaken during the Bharat Seva program.

Showcasing Commitment & Inviting Collaboration

Throughout the tour, the NRIVA leadership will also be meeting prominent individuals and personalities, inviting them to attend the organization’s 7th Global Convention in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, from July 4th to 6th, 2024. This whirlwind journey is a testament to NRIVA’s unwavering dedication to serving the underprivileged and empowering communities across India.

Additional Highlights

  • NRIVA has launched over 150 libraries in tribal and public schools across the 4 southern states in less than 12 months.
  • NRIVA President Pandiri participated in the launch of “Sheroes Book,” celebrating 256 accomplished women of India.

Our Secretaries team led by Praveen Thadakamalla and Treasury team led by Gangadhar Vuppala was guiding and advising all the teams as needed. Their countless hours and unwavering commitment are the bedrock of this Bharat Seva initiative.
