Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) in partnership with RAYS organization, has taken a significant step towards supporting education by providing essential equipment to a government high school in Siddipet district, Telangana. This collaboration aimed to empower the ZPHS Velkatur school by enhancing its science and educational resources.

Deepak, a dedicated member of the RAYS organization, and Rajib Mukherjee GATeS committee chairperson worked closely with Ramesh Garu, the esteemed headmaster of the school, to comprehensively assess the school’s requirements. Their joint efforts ensured that the specific needs of the school were identified and met in entirety.

With a commitment of approximately 25,000 rupees, GATeS facilitated the provision of a range of scientific equipment crucial for the school’s development. This included an array of bio science lab equipment such as charts, models, and specimens, as well as physical lab essentials like mirrors, lenses, magnets, compasses, periscopes, and various apparatus like test tubes and flasks.

Additionally, the contribution encompassed educational charts spanning physical science, bio science, mathematics, languages, and social studies. The provision of 3-D shape math models and geometry boxes further enriched the educational resources made available to the students. The gesture has been warmly welcomed by the school’s headmaster, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to GATeS for their generosity.

The equipment donation holds immense value, particularly for the students hailing from underprivileged backgrounds, as it promises to significantly enhance the educational experience and learning outcomes at the school. GATeS remains committed to fostering educational growth and believes that investing in such initiatives contributes profoundly to the empowerment of future generations.

ZPHS staff and students thanked the efforts of Greater Atlanta Telangana Society president Mr. Janardhan Pannela, Board Chairman Srinivas Parsa garu and entire GATeS executive members, board of directors and advisors for coming forward to lend support and strengthen the rural schools.
