Music is often referred to as a universal language that transcends boundaries and unites people from all walks of life. It is a form of art that has the power to move people, evokes emotions, and connect individuals despite differences in culture, language, or geography.

This sentiment has been proven true by Indian music director Koti, who has made history by launching a Telugu language song teaser in Australia’s oldest parliament in NSW. The song is sung by Award-winning Singer Sushmitha Rajesh, who has received the Asia Book of Record for her singing.

Writer Tejanjali Valavala penned this song. While talking to media, Tejanjali has said “I am extremely grateful and blessed to be part of the women’s empowerment song as a lyricist, and this is an excellent achievement in my life and mentioned women can achieve anything if they trust themselves regardless of boundaries from the society.”

Telugu music director Dr. Saluri Koteswara Rao (Koti) is honored with lifetime achievement award in Australia’s NSW Parliament. It marks a milestone in the globalization of Indian music and a recognition of the contributions of Telugu artists to the world of music.

Koti, who has composed music for over 525+ films in the Telugu industry, is known for his ability to blend traditional Indian music with modern Western styles. He has won several awards for his music, including the prestigious National Film Award for Best Music Direction in 1996. His music has also been featured in international films, including the Hollywood movie “Basmati Blues” and the Japanese film “Godai”.
