TANA Emergency Assistance Management TEAM known as TEAM SQUARE, a wing in Telugu Association of North America (TANA) non-profit organization, is a service arm that sits right next to 911 service for many in the United States of America. Be it a catastrophic incident like a road accident or a homicide, or an immigration crisis, TEAM Square is the solution for many. It is not unusual for TEAM Square to get requests from non-Telugu people and in fact from other organizations, both local and national.

TEAM Square was established by TANA on October 6th 2008. It is like a friend in need is friend indeed for many Indian families. Over the years, it has established a network of experienced volunteers across all regions of the United States and Canada, who deals with and helps every day, every week, every month, and every year tirelessly. It is not like an 8 to 5 job, calls for help may come any hour, any minute, any second 24×7. TEAM Square helped thousands of families nationwide since inception.

With that said, any volunteer service program requires sponsors and funds to serve the ever increasing crisis situations. So, the current TEAM Square chairman Suresh Kakarla, under the leadership of president Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu, along with TEAM Square volunteers is organizing a family fun run named ‘Run for TANA TEAM Square’. It is more like a 5k walk/run, where you can support the needy and still get healthy with your participation. It is on Saturday April 9th 2022 at 8 am in WakeMed Soccer Park, Field 6, in the city of Raleigh, North Carolina (101 Soccer Park Dr, Cary, NC – 27511).

You can register for the walk at https://tinyurl.com/TSRUN22. All the participants get a free t-shirt and breakfast will be served. If you are not from Raleigh area, you can still support the great cause by donating online at https://www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/1755689. All donations are tax deductible, and strictly go to TEAM Square account to support our fellow brothers and sisters in distress, across the United States.
