Charleston Park, on the banks of Lake Lanier in Cumming, Georgia, is the perfect trail for hiking. The pleasant weather with a nice breeze and a beautiful view of the lake ignited a great start for the hike that Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organized on May 5th, 2024. Sasi Kumar Reddy Daggula from Kolors Beauty Salon & Threading sponsored this hiking event.

It is truly an activity of fitness and socializing with nature. The hikers and TANA leaders gathered at the park by 7:30 in the morning. TANA Atlanta leaders kicked off the hike with a welcome note and explained the route plans spanning 2.5 miles and 4.5 miles.

This hiking event was planned and led by TANA Southeast Regional Representative Madhukar Yarlagadda with the help of other TANA Atlanta leaders Bharath Maddineni, Srinivas Lavu, Rajesh Jampala, Vinay Maddineni, Srinivas Ramisetty, Murali Boddu and Yashwanth Jonnalagadda.

While the hike route was planned by Rajesh Jampala, young volunteers Tanish Jampala and Monish Jampala helped hikers with directions throughout the hike. The best part of the hike is the participation of people from all ages ranging from six to sixty five.

Warm South Indian breakfast provided by TANA along with lot of fluids gave energy to hikers. Everyone lauded Telugu Association of North America (TANA) for providing frequent platforms and taking new initiatives for a better community health and wellness.

Nothing can beat a gentle wind early in the morning alongside the Lake Lanier. Everyone had good time securing fresh energy. Hikers took lot of pictures while departing. Overall, this healthy and successful TANA hiking event brought fresh energy in Atlantans.
