ATA & GATeS: Successful Volleyball Tournament in Atlanta

American Telugu Association (ATA) in collaboration with Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) conducted volleyball tournament for the sports lovers in Atlanta.
This tournament was held at Roswell Park and 20 teams took part in the competition.

This is one of the GATeS initiated summer sports events for the year 2023 and this marks the end of the season for the outdoor sports activity. Breakfast and lunch were served at the event and all the players were supplied with water and they were well hydrated.

The tournament final game was between Punjab and Cloud Q Alpharetta teams. The two teams showcased exceptional skills, strategic gameplay, and remarkable teamwork. After a fierce competition, Cloud Q Alpharetta emerged victorious, securing the championship title.

Punjab was placed in runner up, Fieldstone team stood third place. ATA and GATeS organizers congratulated the winners. Cloud Q Alpharetta team captain Magesh, Punjab team captain Sumeet Gorayya, Davis Dragons Captain Karthik Gummadi and Fieldstone captain Suresh Manikonda were overwhelmed and enthusiastic about future volleyball events, and thanked organizers for conducting this tournament.

The ATA Atlanta team expressed their gratitude to the GATeS association for their invaluable support in making the tournament a reality. With this Volleyball tournament, Atlanta witnessed volleyball talent and players expressed interest in competing for more games, given the opportunity. GATeS organization is always in front run to do such sports events.
