Hyderabad, Telangana: Atlanta NRI Dr. Vani Reddy Gaddam, Ph.D., a distinguished educator, community leader and social-service advocate with nearly three decades of experience in India and the United States, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), beginning a new chapter in her public-service journey.
An alumna of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Nizamsagar, Dr. Gaddam holds a Ph.D. in Education from Utah State University and has served as a teacher, Assistant Principal, professor, academic advisor and education administrator.
Her roots in public service go back to her NSS days, when she worked extensively on rural literacy, women’s awareness and community-development initiatives. During the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections, she visited 87 villages, engaging directly with people through door-to-door voter education and grassroots outreach.
As founder of the Vantage Foundation, her initiatives focus on education, women’s health and empowerment, financial literacy, youth empowerment and anti-drug awareness.
“My journey has always been about education, empowerment and service. I am entering public life with the same commitment – to listen to people, work at the grassroots and create meaningful opportunities for women and youth.”
Dr. Vani Reddy Gaddam plans to continue her public-service engagement across Nizamabad Rural, Khammam and the Zaheerabad parliamentary region in the state of Telangana in India.
