TANA: Fire victim assistance provided to Telugu students in New Jersey fire accident

Six Telegu students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana displaced and one student burned in recent house fire accident in New Jersey. The students who are studying at New York Pace University residing in Bayonne, New Jersey got effected with this unfortunate fire accident and lost everything.

Telugu Association of North America (TANA) Team Square team immediately responded and helped the students in need. TANA Team Square co-chair Mr. Srinivas Bharathavarapu visited the effected students and provided groceries for immediate support.

TANA secretery, Mr. Raja Kasukurthi visited the student’s temporary shelter and provided $1000 gift cards to buy cloths and immediate necessities along with Team Square Chair Kiran Kothapalli, Srinivas Bharthavarapu, Foundation Trustee Srinivas Oruganti, New Jersey TANA Regional Coordinator Rama Krishna Vasireddy and NRI Student Services Chair Sreenath Konanki. TANA team provided guidance to get help from the insurance and property owner, and also assured for further assistance.

Laptops to students with help from Dr. Movva family

TANA Foundation provided laptops to students with the help of donors Dr Venkateswara Rao Movva and Veda Movva from Moline, Illinois. The students who received help praised TANA and the donors for coming forward to help them for their immediate needs and guidance in tough times. They thanked entire TANA team for all the help they received.

TANA secretary, Mr. Raja Kasukurthi thanked TANA Foundation chairman Sasikanth Vallepalli, TANA Board Secretary Laxmi Devineni, TANA Foundation Secretary Vidya Garapati, Foundation Trustee Srinivas Oruganti, Team Square team Kiran Kothapalli, Srinivas Bharathavarapu for their time and effort.

Raja also thanked New Jersey Regional Coordinator Ramakrishna Vasireddy, NRI Student Services Chair Sreenath Konanki, Satish Meka, Tara Vikram, Shivani Taana, Srinivas Mupparaju, and Tulasiram Kodali for all the help and support they provided to help the students in need.
