TAI’s multiple successful events in a row, setting the bar high: Telugu Association of Indiana

Telugu Association of Indiana (TAI) Sports events were conducted over three weekends starting from September 11th through September 25th. TAI is setting the bar high with each of their events, Vana Bhojanalu, Cultural Event, and Sports.  TAI concluded their Sports 2022 event with a final day of Badminton with 40 teams and Table Tennis with 20 teams.

TAI Sports committed to make the event a great success using the technology to the core. TAI Sports committee setup 5 live cameras to live stream the events to all their members and national volleyball teams supporters from St. Maria Goretti School Gym in Westfield, IN. There were 350+ Sports men and women across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Illinois in different sport events. This is TAI’s third sports event since TAI was originally formed.

TAI witnessed overwhelming response this year as there was a gap of 2 years in between the last event and this event due to COVID-19. 120+ participants in national volleyball tournament, 80 participants in Badminton Men’s and Women’s tournament, 40 participants for Women Throwball tournament, 30 Participants from Men’s Tennis tournament, 30 participants for Children’s Chess Championship, and 25 participants for Adult Table Tennis championship.

TAI celebrated three big events this summer starting with their Cultural event ‘Classical Indian Dance’ sponsored by Consulate General of India Chicago in July, 16th TAI Vana Bojanalu in August, and 3rd TAI Sports all three weekends in September.

Mar Reddy Dondeti as the current Executive President, Venkata Ramesh Gajjala (Treasurer) and Sunil Mummaneni (Chairman) strongly believe that this success with each and every event is only be possible with great team work, right vision and correct guidance. Venkat and his team worked hard for more than a month to plan and prepare traditional Telugu Vantakaalu for 600 people who participated in the ‘TAI Vana Bhojanalu’ in Forest Park, Noblesville, IN.

TAI President and executive board strongly admires, Rushyanth supported by his teammates Naveen Chakkilam, Deepa Yedugani, Vamsi, Ramu, Harini, Madhavi, Balaji and Rajesh who planned and executed local level and national level sports events successfully uplifting the brand value of TAI and carrying the burden of stress on their shoulders alone.

TAI sport event on September 25th for Badminton and TT was live telecasted using 5 different cameras with the help of TemperaturePro Indianapolis sponsorship to every TAI Member and Team’s supporters. TAI team is leaving set stone behind in using the latest technology in their promotions with grand marketing material and attractive flyers to pull the Telugu and other Indian communities together to celebrate every event they do with exceeding expectations.

With an overwhelming support and request from the players, TAI is planning to conduct National Cricket Tournament from next Sports event. This is really an exciting news for Cricket enthusiasts to participate in TAI Sports.
