In recent years, Kala the Art, an organization dedicated to teaching young creative minds art, has showcased the talent of its artists through its annual Art Show. This year, the showcase, led by Kathy Pinnika, founder of Kala the Art, displayed pieces by 190 artists aged 5 and above at Fortius Sports Academy and AnTeRa Bar and Grill.

Through their artwork, the artists brought their memories to life, following the thematic topic “Journey through time,” which reflected nostalgic and meaningful moments from their lives. In addition to this theme, the artists incorporated a strict black and white color scheme, further emphasizing the sentimental and reflective tones of their paintings.

With this artistic approach, the showcase truly became a walk down memory lane, featuring a wide variety of emotions, actions, and relationships illustrated through acrylic paintings. A record-breaking 400 people attended and viewed the display, offering memorable remarks and praise to the artists, further boosting confidence and creativity.

Additionally, to support the community, the artists painted for a cause, raising money for B.A.D.G.E., a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting first responders, including the Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department, Cumming Police Department, and 911/EMA Center, and restoring hope when unforeseen circumstances enter the lives of the people who serve and protect the public.

This successful event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of numerous sponsors, including Ms. Neelima Gaddamanugu, Mr. Anil Kolli, Mr. Radhakanth Swayampakula, AnTeRa Bar & Grill and Fortius Sports Academy, Ms. Bindu Gopalam, Suchi Assurance, Sucharitha Akula, Ms. Sudha Reddy, RP Elite Decor, Ramya Paruchuri, Mr. Ashish Doshi, and MOH Jewels, and collaboration with SSS Charity & Sri Krishna Vilas. Ultimately, Kala the Art successfully showcased the artists’ work and creativity, while demonstrating the power of art.
