Chicagoland players participated in GCIC Table Tennis @ Woodridge, Illinois

Greater Chicago Indian Community (GCIC) conducted its annual Table Tennis Tournament on November 09, 2024 at Pickled center in Woodridge, Illinois. Players from across the Chicagoland participated in this tournament.

Greater Chicago Indian Community (GCIC) Treasurer Siva Reddy Palagiri made sure that check-in process was smooth for all teams. GCIC sports chair Siva Arige and sports co-chair Hemachandru made sure court assignment was done to all promptly.

Tournament format was designed such that players of all skill levels could play together in league stage, and after league stage teams were slotted in advanced, intermediate and basic levels as per their performance.

Planning committee comprising of Siva Arige, Venkateswarulu Gajjela, Hemachandru and Srujan Nainappagari made sure that rules and format details were conveyed to all players. Madhusudan Reddy Kappeta made sure all the match scores are updated correctly.

Live stream of all games was made available on Greater Chicago Indian Community (GCIC) Facebook page. GCIC board of directors Shashank Saduneni, Siva Palagiri and Srujan Nainappagari made sure that water and refreshments were available all the time.

Entertaining afternoon ended with prize presentation to winners and runners in all categories. GCIC president Suganthi Natarajan congratulated all the players. Thanked all the sponsors, volunteers who pitched-in for successful execution of the tournament.
