NRI Vasavi Association honored with significant State and County recognitions

St. Louis, MO – The NRI Vasavi Association (NRIVA), a global non-profit organization dedicated to community service and cultural preservation, has been honored with two significant recognitions during its 7th Global Convention in St. Louis, Missouri.

St. Louis County officially proclaimed July 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2024, as NRIVA Days, in recognition of the organization’s impactful contributions and active community involvement. This proclamation was presented on stage during the convention, marking a proud moment celebrated by NRIVA members and attendees.

Additionally, Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft issued a resolution declaring July 5th, 2024, as NRIVA Day across the state of Missouri. Secretary Ashcroft attended the convention in person to present the resolution, underscoring the state’s recognition of NRIVA’s positive impact on the community.

Under the leadership of its President, Srinivasa Rao Pandiri, NRIVA has continually worked towards the betterment of communities worldwide, focusing on initiatives such as educational scholarships, the establishment of libraries in rural schools, food donations, health camps, and disaster relief efforts.

President Pandiri expressed his deep gratitude to all volunteers and supporters, and he specifically acknowledged Dayakar Veerlapati Garu for his instrumental role in coordinating with county and state officials to secure these prestigious recognitions. These accolades stand as a testament to NRIVA’s dedication to its mission and its growing influence across the United States and beyond.
