Financial aid via TANA Aadarana: Lokesh Naidu, Councilor-at-Large

One among many of Telugu Association of North America ‘TANA’ Foundation’s service programs is Aadarana alias Thodpatu. The goal of this successful program is to help the physically disabled or needy students. On January 31st, another needy student witnessed the benefit of this program at the ground level. Lokesh Naidu Konidala, TANA Councilor-at-Large, along with Venkat Jasti from Dallas donated a laptop and one year fee for an Engineering student, Navya Kosuri.

Navya is from a small village in Khammam district in the state of Telangana, and studying B.Tech at TKR college in Hyderabad. Ravi Samineni, TANA Foundation Trustee and Aadarana program coordinator, handled the logistics. On behalf of the donors, UTF district officer Rambabu Vallamkonda handed over the 70 thousand rupees worth of Dell laptop and 50 thousand rupees check to the family. Navya, the yet to be Electronics and Communications Engineering graduate, along with her father Srinivasarao Kosuri thanked both the donors for their compassionate support in needy times.
