Women Throwball Tournaments in Charlotte & Detroit by North American Sports Association, NASA

North American Sports Association (NASA) is successfully launched by hosting 2 women Throwball tournaments in Detroit, MI and Charlotte, NC on March 12th, Sunday. NASA is founded by 3 passionate sports lovers who are coaches and captains themselves for many years. The goal of this organization is to promote more women participation and conduct more sports tournaments across North America.

Women Throwball Tournament @ Detroit, Michigan:-
Detroit event was organized by NASA’s President Manu Gondi at Sparc Arena in Novi, MI. Total of 6 local teams with 55 players participation in the tournament.
Event started off with sponsor Mr. Vishnu Jampala expressing how impressive the commitment to practices and tournaments by all women managing the family.

Detroit Champs stood as Winners, Detroit Dragons as 1st Runner-up and Detroit Wyverns as 2nd Runner-up. SPARC Team-Raghu Ravipati, Praveen Jettipalli and Vaninath Uppalapati presented the winning trophies.

Manu Gondi wrapped up the event with closing notes on how NASA is working to bring in more local teams and conduct tournaments to keep all women active and healthy. She thanked the sponsor Vishnu Jampala, Sujatha Tammineedi for overseeing the schedule and Sirisha Ravipati on logistics along with SPARC team for making this event a big success.

Women Throwball Tournament @ Charlotte, North Carolina:-
North Carolina event was organized by NASA’s Vice-president Vasantha Kavuri. Total of 5 teams participated with 45 players. Team Titans stood as Winners and Spartans as Runner-up.

Vasantha Kavuri thanked sponsors Bala Sure Realtor, Candorsoft Technologies Srikanth Yerra, Shwari’s_clt Boutique Koteswari Oruganti by saying without whom this event wouldn’t have been possible. Special cash prize was presented to winning teams by Nagamalleswara Panchumarthi and he expressed his continuous support in such future events.

Vasantha thanked all the participants and conveyed special thanks to Meghana Kappala for the media support, Kavya Vurrakula, Vishali Jujjavarapu, Sandhya Pradeep for their relentless help on this tournament to make sure everything goes well.

North American Sports Association (NASA) Goal:
As a next step, NASA is working to host another Throwball tournament in May at Dallas, Texas and this will be led by NASA Secretary Thejesh Kumar. Details will be announced soon.

In addition to Throwball sport, NASA would like to bring all women Badminton, Tennikoit, and Volleyball teams together from different states as part of future tournaments by maintaining high competitiveness and professionalism.
