Sports mania showered at TAI Volleyball Tournament

Telugu Association of Indiana completed National Volleyball Tournament on September 18th, 2022 as part of TAI Sports 2022. The event was attended by 10 board and executive team members, 120 sports men, 30 volunteers, and 200 guests at St. Maria Goretti school gym in Westfield, Indiana.

12 volleyball teams from different states including Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois participated in this tournament. There were 9 teams from the state of Indiana and 1 team each from all the other 3 states named Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois.

2 teams from Indiana and 1 team each from Ohio and Michigan reached semifinals in the tournament. Semi finalists are Indiana Warriors (IN), Greenwood Lions (IN), Efficians Comrades (OH), and Kiss My Ace (MI). Bothe Kiss My Ace and Eficens Comrades reached the finals. Volleyball Tournament Championship was won by Eficens Comrades from the state of Ohio.

Telugu Association of Indiana leadership team MarReddy Dondeti (TAI President), Sunil Mummaneni (Chairman), Venkata Gajjala (Treasurer), Rushyanth Reddy (Sports Chair), Harini Byrishetty (Board), Pramod Reddy (Board), Anil (Board), Naveen Chakilam (Volleyball Coordinator), Deepa Yedugani (Women Badminton Coordinator), Balaji (Chess Coordinator), Vamshi (Men Badminton Coordinator),  Madhavi Peddi (Sports Coordinator), Ramu Alimineti (Tennis Coordinator) coordinated the overall tournament.

This sports event was graced by multiple dignitaries from different associations including Om Narla from Hindu Temple of Central Indiana, Sai Sanka from Sri Sathya Sai center of Indiana, Badri Devathu from Kriya Shakti, and Ravi Dinakaran from Tamil Sangam.
