‘Feed the Needy’ Food Drives in Connecticut & Boston

Telugu Association of North America ‘TANA’ New England chapter organized food drives on January 15th and 16th 2022. An initiative driven as part of TANA Cares to help feed the needy were conducted in Connecticut on this Saturday followed by Boston on Sunday. Both food drives received many applauds from the community. St. Isaac Jogues Food Bank and Boston Homeless Shelter are very appreciative of the TANA’s giving back to the community initiative, in a much needed time.

Pradeep Gaddam, TANA New England Regional Coordinator, said “we have successfully donated perishable food worth around $1500 to St. Isaac Jogues Food Bank in East Hartford, a town located on the east bank of the Connecticut River and food for 300 people in Boston Homeless Shelter. Thanks to all the friends, donors and TANA leadership for their support.” Rao Yalamanchili, Krishna Prasad Sompally, and many others participated in this great cause.
