Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) in association with Real Tax Ally organized Tax Law changes and Financial Planning Seminar on February 25th at Desana Middle School in Alpharetta, GA. Over 140 Atlantans participated in this interactive & informative need of the hour seminar, which is way beyond regular attendance for such seminars.
Presenter Hari Prasad Salian is the CEO of Real Tax Ally Tax Firm. Tax Law changes for Individuals & Business Owners, Deductions, Tax Credits and Tax Saving Strategies were explained in detail and was well received and appreciated by attendees. Snacks and beverages were provided.
TAMA has been presenting several programs catering to all ages and walks of life – seminars, free clinic, festivals, literary & cultural meets, sports, knowledge bowls, charity, education, trainings, student competitions, women & youth activities, health & wellbeing initiatives, blood drives, vaccinations and many more.
The event commenced with an opening note by TAMA Media Secretary Srinivas Ramisetty. He explained how these seminars have been helping the community in understanding the intricate details of filing taxes and benefit from the savings. Board Chairman Subba Rao Maddali explained various activities and seminars that TAMA conducts regularly, for the benefit of the community and introduced the seminar presenter.
The 2-hour Power Point covered Federal and State Return, Investments and Rental Property Return, Self-employed and Sole Proprietorship Return, Business Tax & Services, Partnership, LLC, S-Corp and C-Corp Returns, Book keeping, Payroll, Entity Formation, Audit and IRS Representation.
The second half of the seminar focused on the recently announced Tax Reforms. Hari Prasad has explained the implications and the benefits very clearly in simple terms. As the session is interactive, several participants have asked many questions, presenter repeated them and answered patiently, which benefitted everyone.
Q & A continued even after the presentation. President SaiRam Karumanchi welcomed TAMA team on to the dais and introduced them. He spoke about upcoming events, especially about Ugadi on April 8th and then invited Srikanth Madineni and Seshagiri Rao Mandava, TAMA longtime supporters, along with senior Chadra Sekhar Mylavarapu.
They have shared their interaction with TAMA and appreciated the consistent efforts and events TAMA is doing. TAMA team felicitated them. Hari Prasad said his journey with TAMA since several years is amazing and expressed sincere thanks for conducting the seminar. TAMA team lauded Hari Prasad’s services and felicitated him with a Plaque and Shawl.
