The Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) successfully launched its first-ever “Meet the Leaders” session, a thoughtfully curated initiative aimed at empowering youth and high school students through meaningful interactions with accomplished professionals.
The inaugural session turned out to be a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on both students and parents in the Metro Atlanta area. The event featured an exceptional lineup of speakers who brought diverse experiences and perspectives.
Among the distinguished guests were Judge Neera Bahl, a respected figure in the judiciary; Hari Chawla, Co-Founder of Fuel Daddy and a dynamic entrepreneur; and Havishrikit Arya, an inspiring law student. Each speaker shared their personal journeys, shedding light on the challenges they faced, the determination required to succeed, and the lessons they learned along the way.
Students had the unique opportunity to gain insights into various career paths—ranging from the intricacies of the judicial system and the dedication needed to pursue law, to the innovation and resilience required in entrepreneurship in today’s fast pacing world.
The interactive nature of the session allowed young participants to ask questions, engage in discussions, and better understand the real-world applications of their aspirations. Many students expressed excitement and eagerness to attend future sessions.
The session was skillfully moderated by Bebo, a 10th-grade student, whose confidence, curiosity, and composure added tremendous value to the program. Her ability to engage both the speakers and the audience made the session lively and impactful, earning appreciation from attendees.
TAMA extended its heartfelt gratitude to Sujatha P. Thota for her unwavering support and encouragement, and to Sai from Global Academy for graciously providing the venue for the event. Their contributions played a vital role in the smooth execution of the program.
