The inaugural NRIVA West Coast Conference, held December 3rd at Oasis Palace in Newark, CA, proved a resounding success, attracting over 1,000 participants and generating enthusiastic feedback. This landmark event offered a unique platform for the WestCoast members of NRIVA to connect, learn, and celebrate.
The conference kicked off with an informal meet-and-greet on December 2nd, fostering connections between matrimony registrants and NRIVA leadership. The official opening ceremony on December 3rd featured a lamp lighting by NRIVA President Mr. Srinivasa Rao Pandiri and distinguished guests, followed by two parallel tracks tailored to diverse interests.
The matrimony track catered to over 150 prospective brides, grooms, and their families, providing interactive sessions, engaging activities, and personalized matchmaking opportunities. Organizers were impressed by the enthusiasm and interest shown by the young participants, with many expressing eagerness for future events.
NRIVA Matrimonial committee chair Prasanna Sontha and her team did an excellent job in delivering world class in person matrimonial event. Meanwhile, the business and technology track featured insightful presentations, including a financial outlook for 2024 by Jav Devaki and a session on Generative AI by Raghu Banda from SAP.
Empowering women in leadership took center stage after a delicious lunch. A panel discussion led by accomplished professionals like Rashmi C. (Salesforce), Sonya Pelia (Startup Advisor), Shruthi Goli, and Ena Sarkar (Women Now TV) explored topics like building confidence, mentorship, and networking.
Amruth Pabba’s captivating presentation on conservative cryptocurrency investing resonated with the audience, and the day culminated in a stimulating discussion on startups and funding moderated by Sonya Pelia. The panel included industry experts like Radhesh Kanumury (Venture Capitalist), Apoorva Dornadula, and Uday Chaka (Sentry Security).
The evening’s Gala Night with Gaana and Glamor was a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage. Featuring traditional dances, performances, and remarks by NRIVA President Pandiri, the event showcased the rich culture and talent within the Vasavite community.
Melodious renditions by back singer Anjana Soumya and Sai Guduguntla rounded off a remarkable day. NRIVA recognized the services by Dr. Raj Bandaru and Dr. Satyakant Chitturi for their services during the COVID and also recognized Upgrade Myclassroom foundation.
The NRIVA West Coast Conference served as a powerful platform for professional development, personal connections, and cultural celebration. The diverse program, engaging speakers, and enthusiastic participation contributed to its overwhelming success.
West Coast Vasavite families expressed their appreciation for NRIVA bringing the conference to their doorstep and offering valuable opportunities for both personal and professional growth. NRIVA President Srinivasa Rao Pandiri expressed his gratitude to the collaboration and leadership of VSF and thanked all speakers, performers, NRIVA and VSF leaders and volunteers for their dedication.
Mr. Pandiri lauded the efforts of NRIVA leadership and West Coast volunteers, including NRIVA President-Elect Ramesh Bapanapalli, General Secretary Praveen Thadakamalla, BOTs LM Rao Chilakala, Sunita Rachapalli, Dr. Venu Kondle, Dr. Ravi Makam, Hari Yakkali, Lakshmi Kamboji, Raja Pampati who traveled from across the USA, and other leaders and volunteers.
VSF leadership team that includes its President Prasanth Kedarsetty, Founder Rao Panuganti, other board, EC members, and Bay Area leads Vish Jakka, Naresh Ambati, and Venkat Chunduru who played a critical role towards the success of the event.
Notably, participants hailed from the USA, India, and Canada, highlighting the conference’s broad reach. Both NRIVA President Pandiri and 7th Global Convention Convener LN Rao Chilakala extended a warm invitation to all members to join the upcoming 7th Global Convention in St. Louis, July 4th-6th, 2024.
