A 7 foot poster of Lord Rama unveiled @ Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago

On January 1, 2024 in Lemont, Chicago at Hindu Temple of greater Chicago the new president for the year 2024 Dr. Gopal Sreenivasan and his fellow trustees unveiled the portrait of Lord Rama as the beginning of celebration of inauguration of Sree Ram Janma Bhoomi, Ayodhya.

In the morning around 11 o’clock, the trustees Kamala Chimata, Venkata Reddy. Siva Kumar, Bakshish Rawal, Renu Jain,Sivaraman, Kiran Ramineni, Jayanthi Mittur, Veena Marwaha, Satya Sridhar, and other trustees started in a procession singing Bhajan.

The main priest of the temple Srikrishna Chari garland the portrait of Sri Rama and announced the celebrations will continue until January 21 and 22nd in connection with the Rama Janma Bhoomi celebration at Ayodhya. A 7 foot tall poster of Sri Rama was unveiled to mark the initiation of celebrations in conjunction with Ayodhya Ram Mandir consecration.

President, Gopal Srinivasan invited all the gathering, and requested for their parts in the coming days of festivities and make it a grand success of the program. He thanked Bhima Reddy, Sujan N and other team members who made the portrait on time.
