IFA Freedom Mela 2022 on Aug 20th, Vidya Vox band live performance in Atlanta

Indian Friends of Atlanta (IFA) is celebrating Freedom Mela 2022 on August 20th at the Cumming Fairgrounds. IFA conducts this event around the Indian Independence day and American Independence day to commemorate the Freedom in the largest democracies in the World. Historically Freedom Mela is the largest gathering of Indian American community in Atlanta and in  Southeast USA.

We have celebrated the Freedom Mela 2015 in Newtown park, and Freedom Mela 2016 in Atlanta Braves Stadium (first time an Indian cultural program was held in a professional stadium) Freedom Mela 2017 in Lilburn Park and Freedom Mela 2018, and 2019 at Verizon Amphitheatre with unprecedented support from the community and all of the organizations in Atlanta.

Highlights for this year event include grand parade with local organizations, variety of cultural programs, messages from local leaders and dignitaries, live concert by Indian American Music sensation Vidya Vox and group, shopping, music, fun, food and many more.
