The American Telugu Association (ATA) held its city-level competitions featuring a diverse range of events including a beauty pageant on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at Naperville Illinois. These competitions are part of selecting extraordinary talent across the United States of America, to showcase the final performance at the ATA Convention & Youth Conference to be held on June 7, 8, 9 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Event was conducted under ATA leadership of Hanumanth Reddy, Sainath Boyapalli, Mahee Muskula, Karunakar Madavaram, Satyanarayana Reddy Kandimalla, Rathnakar Arjula, Raj Addagatla, Bhanu Swargam, Narasima Chittaluri, Janikiram Reddy, Ven Reddy and other core ATA team members from Chicago area.
The beauty pageant segment of the competitions showcased the grace, elegance, and intellect of Telugu women, men, and teens in the community. Contestants participated in various rounds including traditional attire, talent and questions and answer sessions.
The panel of judges, composed of esteemed individuals including National Pageant Chair Sravani Rachakulla (Atlanta), National pageant member Deepthi Chirra (Atlanta) and Geethika (Chicago) evaluated the contestants based on poise, confidence, and cultural awareness.
Pageant training was provided by American Telugu Association (ATA) Pageant chair Sravani Rachakulla.The event is coordinated by Malathi Damaraju and supported by Tamishra Konchada, Geetika Mandala and Nedhi Panse.
Everyone conveyed thanks to ATA President Madhu Bommineni, Convention Convener Kiran Pasham, Coordinator Sridhar Tirupathi, Director Anil Boddireddy, National Coordinator Sai Sudhini, Co Convener Prashanthi Asireddy, Co-Cordintator Prasheel Gukanti, Co Director Srinivas Srirama and the whole convention leadership ship team.
