The CME (Continuing Medical Education) event organized during the 18th  ATA Convention and Youth Conference in Atlanta was a resounding success, bringing together a room full of medical and non-medical professionals. Dr. Prem Sagar Reddy delivered the captivating keynote address, which garnered a standing ovation for his invaluable insights.

This momentous occasion was made possible through the unwavering support of Anchor Pharmacy, Abiomed, and Arete Hospitals Hyderabad, along with the Quantum Revenue Cycle, who sponsored the event. Notable speakers and their enlightening topics at the CME included:

Dr. Nandini Sunkireddy – “New Advances in Obesity Medicine”

Dr. Neelima Katukuri – “Heart Diseases in Asians: Common Myths”

Dr. Ravi Singareddy – “Suicidal Behavior: What Do We Know and What Can We Do to Prevent?”

Dr. Bellamkonda Kishore – “Pros and Cons of the Impact of AI on Primary Care and Family Medicine”

Dr. Madhavi Siddhanti – “Long Covid and Its Impact”

Dr. Akhila Kothapalli – “Menopause: A State of Mind”

Eager med and premed students generously volunteered their time, actively assisting with various tasks including checking blood pressure. The diverse attendee list included several physicians, non-physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and dietitians, creating a rich and dynamic environment.

The invaluable support of Madhuri Reddy, co-chair of the volunteer committee, was instrumental in the seamless coordination of the event. Dr. Sudha Reddy and Dr. Nandini Sunkireddy played pivotal roles in conducting the CME, while Madhuri Reddy Gaddam adeptly managed the volunteer team and oversaw logistical arrangements.

Physicians were eligible to receive 3.5 ACGME-accredited Cat 1 CME credits through Emed Events, marking a significant milestone for ATA. The event’s success was further enhanced by the presence of CME-specific sponsors and the dedicated ATA team, to whom special thanks are owed for providing this remarkable opportunity. Such a successful CME has been conducted for the first time in ATA’s history.
