Women Empowerment Telugu Association (WETA) in association with Topudubandi distributed school supplies like notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, pouches, and sharpeners for 220 students in Kalluru Government Girls High School in Khammam district in the state of Telangana. WETA officials in US coordinated with an agency in Hyderabad to get them packed properly and orderly on time.
On the same occasion, Sadia, a student who passed the national level NMMS exam was felicitated and presented her with a cash prize of Rs.5000. Also felicitated and presented memento to Madarunnisa who participated in the Throwball state level sub junior competition.
Pushpala Ramarao, a police officer who has provided immense services to the Adivasi children in the forests of Adilabad, attended the program as a chief guest. He lifted inspiration in the children. Everyone thanked WETA founder & president Jhansi Reddy, president-elect Sailaja Kalluri, and all the WETA team members.
