Novi, Michigan: TANA successfully completed Intercity Badminton Tournament

Telugu Association of North America (TANA) completed Intercity Badminton Tournament successfully in Novi, Michigan. By far this is one of the largest Badminton Tournament ever to be conducted in Michigan and it it was a grand success. The tournament took place this past Saturday, November 18, 2023.

This sporting event started at 8 in the morning and ended at 6 in the evening with over 125 amazing Badminton lovers participation. Great sportsmanship, exciting matches, athletic performances and razor thin margin wins made this day a spectacular event for all viewers.

Few Telugu players have travelled as far as Texas and Canada to play in this tournament. The event closed with the winners trophy distribution for the open, mixed doubles and seniors category. Michigan and Canada Telugu community appreciated TANA for conducting such a wonderful Badminton Tournament spanning all age groups.

An organizer, Vishnu V Jampala, thanked all the players, event sponsors, youth volunteers, TANA president Niranjan Srungavarapu, TANA Board of Directors Chairman Dr Hanumaiah Bandla, Suresh Puttagunta, Ram Prasad Chilukuri, Dr Kavitha Ponduri, Srinivas Ponduri, Prasad Beesabathuni, Shrini Sajja, Chalapati Koduri, Vinod Kukunoor, Vasu Gannamaneni, Danteswara Challa, Jiten Bondada, Murali Ginjupalli, Dr Harnath Policherla and all other special guests for gracing the event.

Special thanks were conveyed to TANA Sports Co-Chair Siva Rajesh Mokkapati, Sha Fahad, Raghu Ravipati, Vaninath Upplapati, Vamsidhar Devabhaktuni, SPARC Team and all the volunteers for making this Badminton tournament a grand success.
