Immigration seminar on Green Card & EAD Policies

Telugu Association of North America (TANA) conducted an Immigration seminar on ‘Green Card & EAD Policies’ with guest speaker Vinay Malik Esq. from VKM Law Group. This was organized and coordinated by Community Services Coordinator Raja Kasukurthi, Joint Secretary Murali Talluri, Immigration Committee chairs Rao Voleti and Sudhakar Katragadda.

TANA President Mr. Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu started the meeting with his keynote and he mentioned TANA is always there for the community to bring helpful topics to educate and provide guidance to whom they are in need. He appreciated the guest speaker Vinay Malik and the entire TANA leadership for providing support.

In this session the immigration attorney Vinay Malik covered the topics related to EAD extension policies for H-4, L-2, and E dependent spouses, how does the guidance distinguish between H-4 visa holders and other derivative visa holders, recent guidance really help H-4 visa holders, recent USCIS guidance regarding work authorization for E and L spouses, EB-2 dates moving faster than EB-3 and the options between interfile vs a new AOS application under EB-2, and the effect of the latest jump in filing dates for EB-2. In this 2-hour interactive session Mr. Vinay Malik answered a lot of questions from participants about their immigration issues.
