Amicable & unconditional settlement in lawsuits: TTA & Dr. Haranath Policherla

The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) and Dr. Haranath Policherla announced today that they have unconditionally settled their lawsuits against each other. No liability was assigned, and judgment was not rendered against either party.

Dr. Haranath Policherla is a distinguished individual who has played a pivotal role in the TTA, showcasing unwavering dedication and leadership. As a founding member of the TTA, Haranath’s visionary contributions have been instrumental in shaping the organization’s trajectory over the past nine years. Serving as the TTA past president and American Telugu Convention (ATC) 2018 joint executive committee chair, he orchestrated the successful execution of the ATC mega convention, leaving an indelible mark on the TTA’s history. His strategic insights and commitment to excellence were further evident in his role as the co-chair and eventual chair of the advisory council, significantly contributing to the resounding success of the TTA Mega Convention 2022 in New Jersey.

“We are glad that an amicable solution has been found and that both sides can move on. TTA is now focused on our Mega convention in Seattle and our mission of serving Telugu people” said TTA Founder Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy. “TTA is focused on the future, and we are glad to put this behind us. We wish Dr. Policherla the best in all his future endeavors and thank him for his service to TTA,” said Dr. Reddy.

Dr. Policherla similarly states, “I am glad to have been able to serve TTA with distinction these many years, but the time to move on has come and I look forward to pursuing charitable causes in other ways.” TTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in New Jersey. It is focused on uniting Telugu people and culture in the United States of America and India. TTA has approximately 6000 members and is internationally recognized for providing charitable works in both the United States of America and India.
