With the collaborative efforts of numerous volunteers, more than 200 people in Atlanta’s most vulnerable population now have their bellies filled along with other necessities. Lambert VT Seva and its President Srimayi Kukkadapu worked with other nonprofit organizations and Emory doctors, and hosted a homeless wellness event.

This generous event took place at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta, Georgia on February 17, 2024. Everyone who came to the event was provided with hot meals, showers, bagged food, kidney screenings, dental kits, winter clothes, toys, and many more.

For the week leading up to the event, Lambert VT Seva (Volunteering Together for Service) had organized a drive, collecting all the dental kits needed for everyone at the event. In addition, volunteers gathered to make meal bags to distribute at the event.

Lambert VT Seva team is extremely delighted with the success of this event, which was even featured in the Atlanta News. VT Seva hopes they made a tremendous impact on the lives of many and are inspired to continue this trend by hosting more volunteering events in the future.
