From a singer cum volunteer to GATeS president: Janardhan Pannela, Atlanta

Everyone across United States knows Janardhan Pannela more as a singer. Mr. Pannela, a resident of Atlanta, Georgia is very known for folk songs. Being a versatile singer, he toured many states and cities in US, entertaining people with his unique talent.

Mr. Pannela, started as a volunteer in Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) years ago in 2012 and ended up being a president of this prestigious organization in 2023. Having served as a president for one full year, he raised GATeS flag high keeping the volunteering spirit.

During his tenure as a GATeS president, Mr. Pannela had successfully organized 57 programs. Among them are 14 Virtual Programs, 13 Food Drives, 19 Onsite Programs
11 back home projects in the state of Telangana. Also, 288 new members took GATeS membership.

While his term ended, Mr. Pannela thanks all his fellow executive committee, board of directors, advisory board, volunteers, sponsors, various committees chairs & co-chairs and Atlanta residents for unwavering support. He wishes everyone a happy new year 2024.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Pannela also conveyed best wishes to 2024 GATeS leadership team. He is confident that the new team will take GATeS to new heights with more charity, community services and cultural activities in Atlanta and back home in India.

Mr. Pannela appreciates his family members Roopa, Vishwak and Vikhyath for their continued support to make every GATeS event special and memorable. He said that the journey as a GATeS (Greater Atlanta Telangana Society) president is ended but not the volunteering spirit.
