The American Telugu Association (ATA) Beauty Pageant team for 2024, under the leadership of Chair Sravani Rachakulla and advisor Neeharika, Co-chairs Gayathri and Anuja, and Members Swetha and Deepthi, achieved remarkable milestones this year as part of the ATA Convention. Introducing five distinct categories — Miss-Teen, Miss, Mrs, Mr-Teen, and Mr, for the first time in ATA’s history, the team orchestrated a series of successful events across the United States.
The semifinals of the ATA Beauty Pageant spanned across 10 vibrant cities Atlanta, Nashville, Washington DC, Dallas, Chicago, New Jersey, Charlotte, Raleigh, Austin, and Philadelphia. The journey culminated in a captivating virtual session that united participants nationwide. Comprising three engaging rounds — Ethnic, Talent, and Western, the semifinals showcased the diverse talents and cultural pride.
For finale 80 winners and runner-up’s contestants from across the USA from each category earned coveted invitations to the prestigious ATA National Beauty Pageant. The ATA National Beauty Pageant, held at the Triumph Signia Ballroom in GWCC on June 8th, dazzled attendees with its quality and grace. The event featured two captivating rounds: Ethnic followed by introductions, and Western followed by a Q&A session for the top five finalists.
Adding to the glamour were esteemed judges Kaushal Manda, Pradhyumna Reddy, Karthik Harshiv, and Amelia. Anup Rubens set the tone as the show opener, while ATA convention Convener Kiran Reddy Pasham, Convention Advisor Gautham Goli, President Elect Jayanth Challa and other distinguished leaders from ATA Convention graced the occasion.
The crowning ceremony was on June 9th during ATA Convention primetime Sunday evening. Runner ups were crowned by actor Anand Devarakonda and actress Neha Shetty. Winners were crowned by the illustrious actor “VIJAY DEVARAKONDA.” The success of the event was attributed to the unwavering support and guidance of the ATA leadership. The ATA Beauty Pageant 2024 not only celebrated beauty and talent but also promoted cultural diversity and community spirit, setting a benchmark for future editions.
