By the women, for the women empowerment in US politics

No matter where we live, we have always seen very few women either coming into politics or succeeding in politics. But there will be always role models who keep trying or succeeded already. Telugu Association of North America ‘TANA’ picked two such successful ladies in US politics and organized an inspirational session by the women for the women.

The topic is an important and interesting one ‘A Journey into Politics by Inspirational Women’. Speakers are Mrs. Aruna Miller and Mrs. Padma Kuppa. This session was coordinated by TANA Women Services Coordinator Dr. Uma Aramandla Katiki and Community Services Coordinator Raja Kasukurthi under the leadership of President Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu.

Being already in US politics, the speakers gave insight into encouraging women in the future of politics. They shared their political journey, gave advices for future aspirants, and explained how to play a role in US government. Dr. Uma thanked both the speakers for their valuable time, TANA leadership and women’s forum ladies for their encouragement and support.
