TTA youth hosted first ever ‘Eclipse Mania at Charlotte’ by NASA ambassador

The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) Charlotte Youth Team hosted a first-ever “Eclipse Mania at Charlotte” event on Saturday, February 10th 2024. NASA ambassador Mr. Bharath Muthyala presented on the upcoming total solar eclipse, which will be visible from several states in the United States on April 8th 2024.

This event is expected to be watched by approximately 35 million people, making it the most watched natural event in history. The event offered activities for kids and parents, including a Kahoot quiz, eclipse model making, and sun viewing through a telescope.

Everyone was excited to see a full house showing so much interest in the topic and engaging with Mr. Muthyala’s presentasion. President Elect Mr. Naveen Reddy Mallipeddi thanked Mr. Muthyala for his knowledgeable session and appreciated Nithvi Mallipeddi and Dillip Syasnai for organizing the event.

Nishanth Sirikonda, TTA Media and Communication Director and Siva Karumuru, TTA Board of Director felicitated Mr. Muthyala and thanked him for his time. The TTA Youth team thanked the TTA Charlotte Team, including Arun Reddy, Venkat Jamulla, Ramesh, Sirisha, and Kavitha, for their efforts in making the event a success.

Finally, organizers thanked Prunitha Mallipeddi for sponsoring delicious snacks for this event. Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) hopes to host many more of these events in the future and grow TTA and TTA youth exponentially.
